All You Need To Know About Fibroblast Plasma Treatment

It does not matter where you are from, your age, race, or size; one is prone to loose skin. Years ago, surgery was the only option to do away with this excessive skin.

However, the situation has changed now, and with new technology and technique, the treatment of loose skin has become easier. Fibroblast plasma treatment has enduring effects.

Plasma Skin Technique

The lower production of collagen makes the skin lose its elasticity and keeps it thin as we age. Well, it is the natural age process of the body to have wrinkles and sagging, and humans can not do anything about this. Fibroblast plasma is an innovative technique that can be opted for in place of conventional laser methods and cosmetic surgery. It tightens and lifts the skin on various body parts. Dr. Fippi, an Italian Plastic Surgeon, is the inventor of this technique. This process has been successfully used in Europe and North America for several years. The technique removes extra skin and tightens skin.

The traditional surgery methods – cutting, anesthesia, and stitching are not applied. Even the plasma skin technique uses a pen to tighten the skin.

Plasma Fibroblast Course

The plasma pen uses the voltage in the air between its tip and the natural gases released over the skin and creates ionized gas. This helps in the contraction and tightening of the skin tissues. This stimulates the body to produce more fibroblast cells, and the same cells secrete collagen to tighten the skin.

The final results take almost ten weeks, but recovery is noticeable. Plasma fibroblast course depends on the person’s skin condition, age, and response to the process.

Time Required for the Treatment

The duration solely depends on the size of the affected area that requires treatment. The procedure takes somewhere between half an hour to two hours. Thirty minutes before the treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to the area for the desired result. After the plasma skin procedure, one more cream is given to you for healing.

Note: However, it is claimed the treatment has lasting effects, yet experts suggest taking the procedure after 3 – 4 years. Since the skin ages as per its natural process and facial lines may be visible, it is good to take the treatment for a long-lasting effect.

Care after the treatment:

There will be swelling and redness in the treated area; do not worry; it is bound to happen. It will be cured in a few days. Though you can see the dark spots there, these spots protect the skin underneath and will fall off naturally after a few days. Apply the prescribed cream, as it helps disappear dark spots.

Note: Their carbon crusts will form on the skin during the treatment. Do not touch these crusts, as it will hinder the healing process. Apply sun protection cream to keep the skin safe.

Though the treatment has no side effects, it is highly recommended that people suffering from the following diseases should avoid the procedure:
