Yellowstone:

Yellowstone is the second largest national park in the United States and is located in Wyoming. This place has a lot of similarities with the Grand Canyon. Both are large and both have relics of ancient civilizations, which are often associated with mysticism and are quite popular among those people who best know places to visit in usa. However, there are some important differences between them. Yellowstone National Park is much more accessible than the Grand Canyon people can visit it just by crossing an ocean or driving down a highway. If you’re interested in visiting something very close to you but still great enough to be added to your list of things to explore in the US you should definitely visit Yellowstone National Park.

Yosemite:

California is known for its huge diversity. Not only does it consist of big cities and small towns, but also of deserts, beaches, and forests. Yosemite National Park is one of the most popular national parks in California. Here you can climb mountains and hike through trees as if it was a forest trail or take a boat trip across the mighty rivers that are flowing between the granite walls constituting the Yosemite National Park. You will definitely not regret having visited this place.

The Redwood National Park is located in California, in the northern coastal region of the US, and stretches for about 1,100 km².

Maui:

We first visited Maui in 2008, and have been coming back ever since. We stayed at the Honeymoon Hotel, a luxury hotel that was built into the side of a mountain, slept on private beaches, and snorkeled with turtles. This is one of our favorite places to explore.

Honolulu is home to some of the best beaches in Hawaii, as well as being home to most of the state’s long-haul flights which make it popular for international visitors and those just looking to get away from it all for island life or relaxation.

Glacier National Park:

Glacier national park is Montana’s most popular attraction and for good reason. It offers a wide variety of activities from hiking and wildlife viewing to kayaking and wildlife tours.

Glen Canyon/Lake Powell:

Lake Powell is an artificial lake on the border of Arizona and Utah that is fed by the Colorado river, creating a large destination for boaters, fishermen, houseboaters, campers, and those who want to just enjoy the beautiful scenery. We stopped here in Arizona to take a hike through slot canyons and watch the sunset over another lake before heading into Utah.

Zion National Park:

This is one of the most visited national parks in the U.S. Just a couple of months ago, more than 800,000 people visited Zion (the busiest month in history) and that number keeps going up every year.

Las Vegas:

Now here’s where I run out of words… Las Vegas is a hot destination year round but it really is at its best during the summer months, when everything is open and the temperatures are usually on par with a desert day. There are lots of activities to do, including gambling, shopping, and spending time in great pools.

Kauai:

Kauai is the fourth largest of the Hawaiian Islands and was actually the last island we visited, in 2011. It’s known as the Garden Isle because of its lush tropical forests and abundant rainfall which make it a great place for hiking. With almost everyone having a passport, traveling to other countries is more accessible than ever before.
