A Review of Dennys Diner
Finding a restaurant in the Metro might be difficult because there are so many options available. The ones with novel tastes and fresh twists—a blend of everything—go away. They are so alluring that going on a culinary expedition seems like a great idea. While some people are interested in food discovery, others have already restricted themselves to eating places where their taste buds are already comfortable and in favor. I fall into the latter category because I’m a picky eater. I don’t enjoy experimenting with new tastes all that much since I don’t want to let down. However, I experiment with new tastes thanks to recommendations and peer pressure from people I know well. One of the places I see myself wanting to try after hearing about it is Dennys Diner.
About the Dennys Diner
An American restaurant with western roots, Denny’s Diner specializes in hearty breakfasts and other meals. It entered the Philippines 7 years ago, offering its best services while adjusting to local tastes without sacrificing its own excellence.
There are six Dennys coupons Diners in the Metro area at the moment. One can found in Robinson’s Place Malate in Manila, another in Uptown Parade 9th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City, another at Level 4 Garden Restaurants in Trinoma, another at Venice Grand Canal Mall, another at Upper McKinley Road, another at Eastwood Mall, another at Ayala North Exchange in Makati City, and another just opened up in Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2. The additional stores found in Vista Mall at Sta. Rosa, Laguna, and Robinson’s Galleria Cebu at Cebu City are all outside the metro area.
Our Experience at Dennys
I enjoy breakfast a lot. If I only ate what typically served for breakfast, I could survive the day. My appetite for breakfast foods suddenly appeared when Joseph & I were walking through Metro on that gloomy Saturday. We entered the heaven-sent Denny’s because it was simply on the ground floor close to Robinson’s Place Manila’s entrance, and I was too famished and sluggish to look around or walk there. So, let me give you a little evaluation of Denny’s Diner.
About Dennys Place
On that wet Saturday afternoon, we snugly tucked away in a Denny’s at Robinson’s Place Manila. Despite being cold physically, the environment feels warm thanks to its hues.
Its interior design is reminiscent of a classic American restaurant. The dining experience improved by its well-ventilated, illuminated, and comfortable seats. In its snug space or outside, it can facilitate small to large parties that want to eat together.
The Food
Despite having a food allergy to chicken, I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. According to the wait staff, the best-selling items at the diner are the Pancake Slam, Waffle Slam, Orange Mint Juice, and Oreo Milkshake. The salad made out of crisp lettuce and tomatoes, bacon, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I especially enjoy their special salad dressing. It’s unique compared to other kewpies I’ve tasted before. Although it has a slight sour bite to it, the fresh vegetables’ flavor and texture nicely complemented. The Pancake Slam consists of two pieces of pancake, two types of sausage, bacon, and eggs. I truly liked their pancake mix, even though the pancake is almost the size of my hand.
We may smother our pancakes in maple syrup to our heart’s delight because it is conveniently located at our dining table. The same ingredients used in the Waffle Slam. Because it takes me so long to eat, the waffle doesn’t get hard over time, which is great for me. They added mint leaves to the orange juice, giving it a unique flavor. Because it’s a tiny bit lemony & minty in the same time, it tastes curiously satisfying. Last but not least, because of its richness and moderate sweetness, I adore their Oreo Milkshake. The size of their dish makes the cuisine affordable.

Additionally, the menu offers waffles and pancakes, soup and omelets, salads and appetizers, and some well-known Filipino dishes such as adobo, Bangus belly, Arroz Caldo, and beef tapa. It also offers burgers, pasta, cold and hot beverages, skillets, sandwiches, ribs, meatballs, and desserts. Denny’s Diners modified their menu to include Filipino dishes in order to appeal to Filipino taste.
Customers Service
On a wet day, we welcomed with warm smiles, which lifted the mood despite the gloomy conditions. The waiting staff, who were all grinning at us, helped us to a seat and gave us the menu. Additionally, the manager makes rounds to see how the diners are faring. They quickly and courteously respond to our needs or demands.
Final Verdict
I rate Denny’s five stars for meal quality and service, location, and ambiance, and a four for the price, making it my personal choice to recommend to anyone. If I were solely based in the Metro, I would suggest a frequent epicure at the diner. People that have a strong preference for American breakfast or dinners would adore it, just as I do.
