The Rotary Module is a great addition to the Snapmaker 2.0 3-in-1 3D Printer because it enhances the user experience to a great degree. Users can engrave on cylindrical objects such as cups, bottles, and more with the rotary module. The rotary module also enables users to create detailed images on curved surfaces, allowing them to create objects with more intricate and complex designs. Furthermore, the rotary module offers higher accuracy than traditional engraving methods, resulting in more precise and consistent results. The rotary module also enhances user experience by making engraving easier and more efficient.
Snapmaker Rotary module excels at making three-dimensional artworks such as desktop miniatures and small-sized sculptures. Without extrusion, layer shifting, stringing, or supports of FDM or SLA, the rotary module can accomplish a level of detail and craftsmanship that no other 3D printing technologies can. The addition of the fourth axis enables the rotary module to enable your Snapmaker to rotary CNC carve and laser. The rotary module also uses strain wave gearing and packs a 100:1 speed reducer that converts the power to a lower output speed. This allows the 3-jaw chuck to rotate with a minimum angle of 0.1°. You can make it on uneven and irregular surfaces without missing a step.
With precise control at your fingertips, the Rotary Module rotates at 360° continuously with a maximum angular speed of 45° per second; the rotary module is one fast sculptor. With precise control ranging from 0.2, 1, and 5-degree rotation on the touchscreen, you can see the difference in every motion. The module also adds exquisite work to your collection. With the Snapmaker Luban, you can generate the 4-axis projects. Snapmaker Luban is free CAD and CAM software for your 4-axis projects. You can create your designs from scratch in our bundled software with ease. You can also Import STL files and carve hollow objects with uniquely shaped outer shells in Snapmaker Luban software. Advanced 4-axis linkage support, which allows X, Y, Z, and B axes to move simultaneously, has also been added for full control.
Origin Assistant’s new touchscreen feature smoothens your experience and interaction with rotary carving. Presetting CNC bits, setting origins and Z-offsets, and installing materials are simple. You can also choose Assist Mode for an easier process or Manual Mode for more flexible controls.
The 3-jaw chuck supports objects with sizes up to 170 lengths × 68 radii (mm) with the tailstock or 225 lengths × 68 radii (mm) without the tailstock. You can also use a compatible chuck on the market. This enables users to make objects in their way of preference.
